Clinic Expands Team to Meet Growing Demand for Vision Therapy
Our practice has grown quickly as more patients seek specialized care for vision therapy and neuro-optometric rehabilitation. To maintain the personal attention our patients expect, we have welcomed additional professionals who share our commitment to complex cases and lasting results.
Our Growing Team
Bringing the right people on board ensures that every patient receives timely, attentive, and expert care.
Current Staff Overview
The clinic is staffed by optometrists, vision therapists, technicians, an optician, and administrative support who work together to guide each patient through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
New Team Members
Recent additions include a full-time vision therapist and an optometrist who will soon join us. Three more vision therapists are completing training and will start seeing patients shortly.
Why Expansion Matters
Adding staff shortens wait times, increases appointment availability, and allows us to manage complex cases without delay.
Vision Therapy and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation
These services address how the eyes and brain work together, helping patients overcome visual challenges that affect daily life.
What Is Vision Therapy?
Vision therapy is a series of customized activities designed to strengthen eye-brain communication, much like physical therapy strengthens muscles.
Conditions We Treat
Therapy can improve issues such as lazy eye, crossed eyes, double vision, convergence inefficiency, and vision-related learning difficulties.
Benefits for Patients
Successful therapy leads to better comfort and performance at work, school, and play.
- Clearer single vision when reading and driving
- Improved depth perception for sports and daily tasks
- Reduced eye strain and headaches
- Enhanced reading speed and comprehension
Increased Referrals
Other optometrists, occupational therapists, and teachers regularly refer patients to us when traditional methods do not resolve visual concerns.
Success Stories from Our Practice
Our team’s specialized approach changes lives by resolving visual problems that once seemed unsolvable.
The High School Baseball Player
A student athlete saw double when tracking fly balls, affecting his game and confidence. Through targeted therapy, he now sees a single ball and plays at his best.
Approach to Complex Cases
We evaluate the unique visual demands of each patient, designing therapy plans that address root causes rather than symptoms alone.
Commitment to Patient Outcomes
Each success story reaffirms our mission to provide solutions for even the most challenging visual conditions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below are answers to questions patients often ask about our services and team.
How long does a vision therapy program last?
Most programs run for several months with weekly sessions, but exact length depends on the individual’s needs and progress.
Is vision therapy only for children?
No. While many children benefit, adults with long-standing or post-traumatic visual issues can also see significant improvement.
Will my insurance cover vision therapy?
Coverage varies by plan. Our staff can help you understand possible benefits and provide documentation for reimbursement.
What signs suggest someone might need vision therapy?
Frequent headaches, double vision, eye strain, losing place while reading, or difficulty catching objects can indicate that therapy may help.
